Apoxie Pollen Grain

I thought I should send you a picture of the infamous pollen grain I made for the National Zoo at the Smithsonian Institute, out of Apoxie Sculpt. The inner core of this 22 inch diameter pollen grain is made from styrene foam & the cones are made from manilla folders. The model was then covered in 28 pounds of your product. This model now hangs in a greenhouse near one of the nozzles of the misting system. The butterflies that live in the greenhouse find the sculpture a convenient resting place. I’ll be calling you up soon with another one of my projects. ~ J. Bailey, Rockville, MD. Smithsonian Museum contributing artist.
