Ceramic Bank Repair

This ceramic CareBear bank was broken into many pieces during a move. It was first repaired years prior with super glue. While that did hold the pieces together, more or less, it did not restore the object to its original condition much less improve it. Here Apoxie Paste is used to coat the inside for extra strength and reinforcement and fill in some cracks. Apoxie Sculpt was used to fill in the chips and add a 3-D customization; puffier clouds improving the overall appearance and stability. To finish this project the bank was hand painted with acrylics, and then sealed to complete this restoration. Good as new! Work by ~ Aves Studio
